While I do think that movie looks awesome, and will definitely see it when it comes out, I don't think it will be anywhere near as good as Rounders.

The best poker movie ever is "All In" which had a cameo by Mark Cuban among others.

I havent seen any other ones. But I was really impressed with Rounders. It's hard to imagine anything better.

The Grand looks good and I'll watch it, but it's definatly not as serious as Rounders.

Kind of like Woody's movie about bowling it looks like.

Best poker scene is in the Sting....4 nines, .....4 Jacks. The look on Flatnose Johnny's face is priceless as well as Robert Shaw's line after the game. "what was I supposed to do accuse him of cheating better than me in front of the others ?"

The Sting was a great movie but the poker game was incidental in relation to the horse racing past posting wire scam played by Paul Newman and Robert Redford on Robert Shaw's character Doyle Lonnigan. Having Paul Newman and Robert Shaw butt heads on a train playing stud comes close to Steve McQueen trying to knock off the "best" five card stud player in the country played by Edward G. Robinson in The Cincinnati Kid.

Both superb gambling movies with great casts.

I agree. Have you seen him in "No Country for Old Men"? He doesn't have a big enough part in that movie but is still entertaining nonetheless.
