They do that every year in Scottsdale. That is why Philly Mick loves this tourney.

Of course he is also from Scottsdale area.

They usually start the wave when Philly Mick gets hot!

yeah, it's like that every year on the 16th at scottsdale... it's great imo, the only hole in golf where the fans can razz the player and it's ok... and yes matt many are hammered

pretty sure tiger aced it a few years back, the place went crazy, like a college football game

They have stadium seating at the tee box on this hole. This is a big deal every year for this tournament. It's a riot to watch.

nope - he was born and raised in SoCal where he presently resides

Today broke the attendance record for a PGA event. The gallery was close to 180,000. Broke the record by about 10,000. Suppose the Super Bowl had something to do with it.

Have attend this every year since we moved out here. It's always a blast.

Yesterday the 16th was the craziest I can recall. Phil even got booed after his lousy tee shot at the 16th.

They have tried to curb the alcohol consumption at the 16th, but its almost all corporate tents, where the booze is flowing freely.
