Did you see Phil Mickelson just give away 2 SB tickets?

Pretty cool. He just chose 2 ppl out of the gallery (father/son) and had bones give them the tickets and say "you gotta figure out how to get there but here you go".

I guess Phil bought them when he thought he would be playing some real early tee times....I'd stay for a shot at a cool million as well.

That kid and his dad probably have a story of a lifetime, and a favorite golfer.....too bad they will bail on Phil to watch the big game.

Well the Super Bowl is only 30 miles away. But yes I saw it as well.

They could still watch Philly for a while though before leaving

they got about 3 hours....i wouldn't chance it....i can only dream but I'm guessing iti is awesome from the moment you walk in the gates.

Phil will finish his round an hour and twenty minutes before kickoff, giving Bones(caddy) and him plenty of time to go over some prop bets. Hopefully, he isn't in a playoff.

What Phil did today was truly genuine.

After the round (before playoff), the announcer asked about the super bowl tickets and Phil looked really surprised and said "how did you hear about that?"

it showed phil didn't want any recognition for it, he just wanted to reward a father/son

if this was as set up as we think, this makes Phil go from a really great guy to a really sleazy guy....the way he acted so surprised they knew about it.
