brady is a really good qb, he makes great decesions with the ball and always finds the zones in a def not to mention underrated arm strength. brady has great feet inside the pocket!!! i have screamed all year for teams to attack the A gap on brady. this will force him to throw moving left or right and this is a real weakness for him.
brady played bad all game but it's one game. the o-line was bad too but brady seems to use hot routes on blitz and chk dwns very welll in these situations but not last nite
brady is one of the best qb's inside the 10 when passing and this is the hardest place to try an throw the ball. the guy gets lots of credit and deserves it.
i would of said brady is a top 15 qb before last nite and a top 15 after last nite as far as all time qb's
my rankings of all time greats (i am a packer fan and i hate manning keep in mind)
1. john elway- plain and simple he had it all and is very underrated
2. johnny unitas- called is own plays and great arm, revolutionized the passing game and managed the game very well
3.peyton manning- nobody has ever thrown a more accurate ball, throws the out pattern better than anyone(this is the hardest throw in football), very prepared in all aspects of the gm, and has the greatest play action i have seen and this is not ever appreciated enough. (i cant stand this guy either)
4.fran tarkenton- go ahead and laugh, but this guy was great, nobody had better feet not even vick, threw the ball very well and had a great arm, made more passes out of busted plays than anyone.
5. dan marino- maybe the best arm ever, also threw very accurate balls and always lead his wr's to perfect position, would be #1 if he was able to move left and right and throw on the move better. guy was great
6. terry bradshaw- guy gets alot of heat but had awesome arm strength and managed a game well, played with some studs so that may have helped him but he is a true winner on the field
7. brett favre- i really dont know where to put this loose cannon, but nobody puts more heart ina play than him, throws harder than anyone and can put the ball in places no other qb could, always allows his wr to make a play (and this leads to int's but all a wr wants is a chance and he gives them 1) never threw the out route well but is the best at throwing the slant and thsi is a very undervalued route. true winner and passion for the game like no other
8- i guess montana who i think is overrated b/c of super bowls and his great teams
9- dan fouts
10- warren moon
otto graham, ya tittle - never saw much footage on these guys so i dont know. would like to see some more games by these guys as some old timers tell me they wer grt
