Now I have transferred to and from paypal probably more than anyone! Maybe that in itself is the problem.
In the past 2 months, I have accepted paypal transfers from around 8 users here. All went through like clockwork. Each one sent 10-25% more in paypal for cash at betjam.
Well one guy who sent multiple amounts of $400 and $130, his payments were charged back. Now the guy wont even email me anymore about this transfer. I know, I know! I was the dumbass here trusting people!
This actually happened 20 days ago now. I was waiting for paypal's investigation and then for the poster to respond. Well he has stopped all communication. But I did tell him that I would give him until Wednesday to send the money to me via moneygram, so I will wait until then. I wouldnt think that too many people will even read this post, so a seperate thread is needed anyway

Put these same warnings when someone talks about having money in a non "A" Book. This is PUSSIFIED America. I have done several of these transfers here and am not someone with 20 posts. If you are afraid of sending 200.00 to someone after they have sent payment first then you must be horrified to send your money offshore. Just as dangerous. So you are willing to break the law by rec. a payment from a book after bets were made but helping a fellow poster with over 500 posts seems unimaginable to the point where a mod has to warn people of doing such transfers. Will please warn people about sending money offshore in almost every post!! It's cool though no hard feelings just think it's a little hypocritical.

You sent me a Paypal transfer for a transfer to your Betjm account on 12/15/07. I didn't think too much of it at the time, but the transfer from Paypal was from a different name (initials M.B.) than the account holder at Betjm (initials S.P.). A month later, I get an e-mail from Paypal saying that the sender was disputing the charge and the money was returned to him in the end.
I used to do a lot of these transfers for people but that experience made me stop doing that as well as stop using Paypal.
Anyway, I'm usually too busy to post, but reading your criticizing post of Wilheim for warning people of people like you made me take the time.

if you want to establish a relationship with paypal transfers, you can't do chargebacks after 60 days i believe. maybe there's someway to have online collateral. exchange phone #s, get to know the poster, do the transfer on the phone. i gave one poster my ebay username to read feedback about me.

It's ridiculous to get involved with a Betjam/Paypal money swap for $10 when any Walmart in North America will transfer up to $500 to Betjam for $9.95 (moneygram)
Call Betjam for sending instructions and as long as you do it before early afternoon, it will be credited to your account in time for evening games.
