I wish they would add more wild card teams to the MLB Postseason

I just don't understand this. The regular is so long playing 162 games and I think there should be more then 4 teams per league making the postseason. What would it hurt to add two more wild card teams for each league? Just seems that too many teams no their fate at the all star break, and start shipping players to contenders. This would make for a more competitive and entertaining season. I know this had to be questioned before, and I was curious to get your thoughts on this.

Well a 12 team tourney wouldn't work well. You'd have to go to 16 unless you add special rounds or such... like the NFL's Wild Card week.

Well yea thats what it would be. Just adding 2 extra wild card teams but screw that i dont like this idea at all. You play 162 games its a LONGGGGG season. The best 4 teams is good enough.

The whole reason they play so many games is to give a huge amount of time to see who deserves to make the playoffs.

People already say the regular season in boring and april games are meaningless and that would only be more the case if more teams made it.
