From their website:

We offer a choice of delivery methods for withdrawals by check: regular mail (up to 20 business days) or courier delivery (4-7 business days). Courier delivery is $50; regular mail is $15. You are entitled to one free regular mail draft every 30 days.

Wow....
Their courier method went up 20 bucks!!

After one free withdrawal a month...
Their regular mail went from being FREE to $15 a pop!!

And over one year from the Neteller disaster they are still running this disclaimer...

To our valued customers:
Due to the high volume of draft requests, accompanied and brought on by the loss of alternative money transfer methods, there may be some delays in processing your withdrawal. WSEX apologizes for any inconvenience.

With the great poker rebate and knowing the money is safe there, I wouldn't leave them.
But those increases are STRONG!!!

Matchbook also went up to $39 for courier, and $9 for regular mail.

We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time

Actually i used to be a big fan of theirs but i think i am enjoying my other books a lot more

50 bucks for players who dont play with hundreds at a time is tough to bear

Plus no fucking WU or moneygram by now?

I am really pissed at WSEX, now Betjam is by far the best site IMO and usually has the best lines as well

WSEX is back in the stone-age with deposit/withdrawals and it's really a shame.

Books like BetJM, Carib, 5 Dimes, and VIP have just restocked their inventory and have become much more appealing than a book that pays out in checks with a long wait (1.5 weeks minimum for me and that was courier).

If 5dimes has a better payout system, you can just do an interbook transfer from WSEX to 5dimes first, then cashout via 5dimes. Interbook transfers generally take no more than an hour.

I've always thought there is a 1x rollover requirement with the book that you transferred to before you can withdraw.

5Dimes is currently charging $30 for FedEx, $40 for moneygram, no regular mail option, and WU depends on the amount I believe but $30 and up. Plus one free per month Monday morning of $500 or more....not bad but my friend I set up there for the superbowl isn't happy with it since he has only a few hundred even after some winnings on the game.

do these guys ship to Po boxes? (hiding from wife)

Most places require that it be shipped to the address they have on file for you. So I guess if you can somehow get them to change their address on file for you to a P.O. Box you're home free, but I'm skeptical that they'll allow that.

Thanks for the heads-up on the 1x rollover on interbook transfers, I've done a ton of interbook transfers but never tried withdrawing without doing a considerable amount of play at that book so I never had an issue.

The only time I ever had a long wait for an interbook transfer was when I tried to transfer the exact same amount from and to the exact same books several hours apart, and after a quick live-chat session and another 20 minute wait the funds were transferred, that may have been close to a 12 hour wait, but only because I sent the request at 2 in the morning.

Why would it cost $9 to write a cheque?

It doesn't, but it discourages withdrawals, which encourages people to keep their money in and hopefully use it to fuel the marketplace.

I also imagine that with free check withdrawals, that only took about a week to get in the mail, a lot of people were withdrawing some money, losing the little they had left and having to redeposit, and since they refund deposit fees with commission credits, all of those deposits were costing them commissions.

I do wish they'd allow one free withdrawal per month like a lot of places do, that would help limit the number of withdrawals without affecting someone like me who doesn't need to withdraw very often.

1X would be with no bonus, if you managed to get a bonus (hard) then 5X or whatever they said.

I don't have one off the top of my head, but one could always ask for it.

I haven't heard of a bonus being tacked on to an interbook transfer.

Bonuses are negoitable, I've never successfully received one for a transfer either, but that doesn't mean you can't ask for one.

Worst case is you get a NO !

It says in post # 1 that they do offer 1 free per month.
