Great trade for Phoenix... I know im in the minority on this but Kerr is trying to buy a title this year or next year. I think it works out for them and Shaq get his 5th ring on his 3rd different team. Shaq still has something left in the tank. A 75% Shaq is still better than most especially in the playoffs when that is when Shaq really means business

Great trade for them. It's either do this now or rebuild without a championship. Marion and Nash are both getting up there in age and they have Stoudamire for the future. Suns are up there with the Spurs if they slow their game down now. Best thing the Suns could have done is realizing they need a center who plays defense.

You are Not Alone on this...I Also Believe that Kerr trying to buy a Title
Because of the Great Team that they have had over the years, but they just can't get it done.
They need the help up front for sure...

Forgot to add that Marcus Banks is Also part of the Deal.....

Yeah exactly... Amare at the 4 and Shaq at the 5 with the best pg in the game in the playoffs will be VERY dangerous... And when Shaq needs a breather Boras Diaw is more than capable of logging some productive minutes

His defense (most important) as well as his shot selection and rebounding haven't taken hits. Obviously he doesn't move well as he used to but Shaq at 75% is better than 95% of the centers in this league. Dominant defensive centers win championships.

well gasol and bynum are both better than him...so thats 2 on the same team. the phoenix fast pace offense is gonna lead to run outs and he wont get back on defense. the offense wont run through him and his stamina is pathetic. not good for them...suns fans i've talked to hate it

Gasol better than Shaq? Please dude thats got to be a joke. Offensively at this point in their career's I would say yes but hell no defensively. Gason is a joke on defense

it makes absolutely no sense. Shaq isn't what he used to, and like spread said, he isn't playing defense right now and he has no lift. Like to see how Nash and Shaq play the pick n roll....

Sir that is a funny joke you just told. This is my opinion so take it for what it's worth... but that may be the post I've most disagreed with in forum history. Mainly the whole Bynum/Gasol being better than Shaq at this point. Also the fact that Phoenix's offense won't change with Shaq there.
