HBO is retiring Inside the NFL. After 31 years this is the final season. I'm surprised by this because this the only show highlights the games using NFL films. You get the audio from the sidelines that NBC and ESPN can't give you. The only thing that I can think of is that NFL Network will now produce it's own highlight show using NFL films. They do use some of the highlights on the games of the week. Being from Philadelphia this means no more Harry Kalas voice over on the plays. It also means the end of local radio voices doing the calls on Inside the NFL. I'm sure Steve Sabol can't be happy about this.
