I have a computer at my bar that is NEVER connected to the internet and I have a 30 day free program that is going to expire soon. If I just continue to move the clock/date back, is there anyway that I wont be able to just continue to use the 30 day trial? The only way the clock would set would to be if someone did it manually or it is hooked up to a phone line or ethernet line right?

It depends upon whether the program uses the system clock to determine the expiry time. The easiest way to find out is to test it and see if it still works.

Prefer not to, but thanks.

Had a disagreement with the guy and he rubbed me the wrong way. I will not support the company after that, but I do love the software.

Is this for your business?

Yes there are (many) other ways to do it.

I do it all the time with winzip. Set the date back when I need to use it and change when I am done.

If this is essential software for your business, I will reiterate that you should just get the full copy somehow.
