I got screwed by the airline company

I purchased a international round-trip ticket from priceline for my mom, the airline company is Delta.

Just couple days before returning, we call the airline co. to confirm, however, they told me that there's no air line for that day, in other words, they told me that they only fly back to the U.S on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but when I purchased my ticket, why in the world would they let me book the return date on Tuesday then?

I'm very pissed, not only that my schedule is all mess up due to this, but I might also face a $200 or more charge for changes make on the ticket.

Anyone have this type of experience/problem? What should I do?

I would hope that they auto switch me to wed, but I don't think so.

Have you called Priceline?

I would say they need to provide you with a new ticket on the day of your choice.

If they refuse, I would call my credit card and charge back. Should not be too hard if you can send a copy of the ticket and proof from the airline that the flight does not exist.

Seem that your problem is with priceline and not the Airline.

and DELTA is the shittiest airline there is!! Have had two miserable experiences with them!

similar problem....booked a ticket on line with delta for a trip in march. when i booked it on line it was a 6:00am flight out of ft laud. buddy of mine did the same thing. two weeks later he tells me to check my flight because it now says 7pm as does his.
i called them and told me it was my mistake and it would cost me $150 to change it. the whole ticket only cost 164.00.

This is why I hate dealing with these Priceline type places....

I think they were better when they first came along, but then they are bought out and are Never the same !

You might get them to book you on another airline that flies when you want to go.
