The Wings will roll in this game. Lost last night in Toronto and win today at home. This is a no-brainer. The Wings won't give the Ducks chances like the Leafs got last night, including a PP goal. If Giggi starts in goal for the Ducks the Anahiem team will have a long day in Hockeytown. This game is ugly and the Wings in a route and I'll look for a couple of fistacuffs as well.
Thankfully the nation gets to see why the Wings are a step above the rest of the league.

altho this is one type of stat that i do look at, and weigh a certain amount of consideration too.... IMO for the most part these stats are for losers.....

They may have been on the road alot lately, but Selanne certainly hasnt had the wear and tear of a full season yet, we all saw what a star player can do in Ottawa yesterday, Alfredsons line had 15 points!!!
furthermore, if we want to look at history, why not look at the most recent of histories, detroit has lost two in a row and is playing far from their best hockey, in the NHL, as in many sports, things seem to happen in streaks, how many times this year have we seen a team go winless in 10 or go unbeaten for large numbers? check it out, it has happened alot. Can detroit lose three in a row? dont be fooled, of course they can.
If we want to go back to longer history, why dont we think a little bit about the ducks who won the stanley cup last year. Well guess what, they have in recent weeks just re-assembled that team, a team that could easily beat detroit on any given day as well as easily knock them out of the playoffs.
