Gold has always been called the "inflation hedge"
If you bought it in 1975 you lost half of your money.
At current rates, it needs to be over $2000 an ounce to equal 1970's level
Taking inflation.

That's just mind-blowing to me... the weight of Gold that is, and I'm a former Postal worker.

I believe more exact is sides of 14.2 ". You put this cube in an F-150 truck, its over-loaded for weight, by a factor of 2 !

The shit is so fucking heavy, if you have ever held a quantity of it you'd know what I mean !

It's like if it were a beer can it weighs 100 lbs ( maybe off, a bit), and you struggle to lift it.
