trying to sell a car....help me price it

This is actually my girlfriend's car.....she doesn't know a thing about cars, it was passed to her from her sister when she graduated high school:

-1993 Toyota Supra
-non-turbo automatic transmission
-82,000 miles
-no aftermarket upgrades (except CD player is new)

I looked at the private party value in kbb.com and I see prices ranging from 10,500 to 12,500.....i could not imagine a car that is 15 years old selling for something like this.....the paint is faded (it is an old car) and i think there are a few dings (nothing bigger than a dime, nothing major)

put it up on craigslist for 10,000 and got a shitload of interest....not sure what it will go for.....

....should I expect the 10,000....something more? something less?

How much more is a new car in Hawaii, say the cheapest new 2008 Honda Accord ?

Price on the used car seems way high to me.

new cars here cost a few thousand more than on the continental US.....but I wouldn't really expect that to translate much on a used car.

I guess my questions stems from the car being sold. I don't know a lot about car value.....I know for example a honda accord probably retains more value over the years than a ford taurus.....(I'm trying not to use the word depreciation because it implies all cars decline in value at the same rate)

....i know a toyata supra is pretty unique (although this is non-turbo)....just wondering if there are any car peeps that will know something about this that I don't....any info would be nice.
