My mother gave me her ring to give to her...it is a diamond with two saphires around the diamond which is in the middle and a few small diamond stones around the outside...I dont know much about jewery and what not but I think it looks really nice.
Every Valentines day weekend we go to the Beach, Ocean City MD for a one on one weekend...It is always just me and her, well this year she thinks that we are going just the two of us but I have invited all of our friends to go down for the weekend and surprise and celebrate with us. It has been hard because so many people know about it and trying to keep her out of the loop is difficult, but as far as I know she has no idea so it should work out.
Hopefully things turn out ok...did the whole talking to her Dad as a requirement of my mother's to allow me to use the ring...and there is no way she is going to say no, thats not what makes me nervous
which reminds me, do people still go ask fathers for their daughters hand?? I thought that was very old fashion and unnessary but I was adviced to do it anyway so I did
