I have a bunch of gift cards to the Hyatt that I had bought for a clients at Christmas and decided to give out something different.

Now I want to sell these things.

I havent sold anything on ebay in forever. Whats the best and cheapest way. The gift cards are $75 a piece. I have 10 or 12 of them. Any help on how I should do it would be great

I saw a $500 one go for $440 today. So I would probably take $625 for $750 worth of them.

Its more than 15% of the value so I think I should get it. Just they wont let me list them all as one sale. They want me to list them seperate and I dont know about thier fees and sending out 10 damn cards to 10 different people.

Just seems like a pain in the ass

Make your listing as $750 gift card.

In description clearly state it's on multiple cards.

tried it and the ebay police took my ad down in 6 hours.

Also they do not allow gift cards to be over $500 from what they emailed me with

Never heard that you can't List Multi Items in an Auction

Try a Dutch Auction.......One listing with 10 Cards, buyer needs to buy one at a time

Ah the eBay police are getting pretty strict.

I've had a couple accounts closed by them.

Have you tried Craigs List?

I could see the headline:

"Rx poster Timetopay arrested for scalping Hyatt gift cards"

my understanding of ebays rules having had an issue like this before with a best buy refund card is that $500 a week is the limit for gift cards and only 1 card per week you can sell. i think on their site if you search "gift card " in their help section you find their exact wording.

Ebay is so dead these days compared to what is was like. You are lucky to get 50% of the value for those cards. Just use them yourself if you don't want to take the loss.
