I remember I played a baseball game where the players all had a superpower that could be used once and inning or per at bat.
Fun stuff, the pitching could throw a Fireball that would burn the bat, the batter could counter with a steel bat that wouldn't burn. The outfeilders could do a super leap to rob guys of a sure homerun. Forget the name but enjoyed playing it.

I think the game is baseball simulator 2000 although there were probably several wierdo baseball games like this made.

That sort of madness reminds me of the rainbow edition of Street Fighter. Ah good times.

Some off the top of my head...

Bubble Bath Babes, PeekABoo Poker and Hot Slots were games released exclusively to video game stores and it's nearly impossible to find copies. Worth hundreds of hundreds.

Nintendo World Championships 1990 includes Mario, Tetris, and Rad Racer on one disk. 116 of them exist. Looking at over $1000 on that one.

Another one that's expensive is Bandai's World Class Track Meet. Nintendo obviously made the game themselves later but some versions of the Bandai game are out there are extremely rare since Nintendo made em quit producing em and made the game themselves.

Just random Nintendo info. I'm a nerd.

Not a true Nintendo Nerd because you called the catridge a "disk", but it is an obscure list for sure.

1. The original 'Arkonoid' that comes with the paddle, supposedly that is worth big bucks and is very rare. Of course we just sold it off in a bundle when we moved to Genesis. I remember my uncle saying "I've looked everywhere and I can't find that game!" because he liked it so much after playing it at my house. Really, the game was just a modern version of 'Breakout'.

2. Solomon's key. I recall myself and others being so bent on defeating this game and it's overly difficult maps. You have to be Einstein to beat this damn game.

3. Slalom. I don't think this game is all that obscure, but it is rarely talked about. I played this a lot when I got bored since I had beat everything else. It is nearly impossible to get down the harder slopes in time. I mean you just can't defeat this game.

Skate or Die! That was my shit. I owned on that. Best thing about the NES was you could whip the controller when you got frustrated and never worry about it breaking. I wouldnt dare toss my 360 controller, although it's crossed my mind a lot.

Friday the 13th
Roger Rabbit

Friday the 13th was impossible, I heard if you found his mothers sweater then he wouldnt attack you. Needless to say I never found it and he always slaughtered me.

Roger Rabbit was an awesome game, good graphics, and fun as hell.

Rygar was the #1 that I have been holding back, Aruga was a tough bitch to beat and the backgrounds, powerups, soundrack, and kick ass 8-bit bosses ruled the NES. Me thinks that the Playstation's GOD OF WAR draws alot of inspiration from this title.

Marble Madness is one of my all-time favorites. After years of trying to beat it I finally learned the secret to the last level and got through it.
