Kids Sports Question

And let me start by saying PO69 is a douche before he comes in with something that he thinks is funny but is painfully dumb and he puts up the gay looking laughing dog.

OK heres the scenario- I have coached my boys soccer team for 10 years. He is now in the under 16 age bracket. We are not recreation and we are not club. Somewhere in the middle. We travel to two counties and alot of the boys are high school players.

Long story short we just got done with the regular season and started the first round of playoffs. It is a round robin with four teams with 16 totals teams. Winner of each bracket goes to semis.

So in our bracket our two miserable teams and us and another good team.
First game they won 3-0 and we won 6-1. So they have the edge with the shut out. So when we met up there thought process was to just tie us and then beat the other team tomorrow and they advance.

Heres where the problem came in. We show up at the field and it is a good 20 to 30 yards short length wise of regulation. We are supposed to be on 50 by 100 and it had to be 70 tops.

We ended up in a one to one tie and there was just no spacing on the field with it being so short.

Would you protest or is it being a typical nut soccer parent to give a shit?

Couldnt really beef. They sent us three kids about 13-14 years old to be the refs.

I told them but they answered in the typical 14 year old boy way

You have to say you are playing the game under protest before the game starts if it works like bases...I guess it depends on how serious the league is or if its an "upward" bullshit program

Have to let that slide....same conditions for both teams

sucks, but what do you want to happen? Replay the game on a regulation field? Thats making too much out of it IMO.

I know what your saying and thats why im asking cause it aint the boys fault so hate to be an ass. But on a tiny field when one team is playing just to tie it makes it alot harder.

You're pretty much screwed. I would have pitched a fit prior to the game, after that point, I guess there isn't really much that you can do.

So hard to throw a fit with all the kids around,teenage refs,and all the parents and little kids on the sidelines.

Just would have felt like a goof but now I feel I let my boys down. Fuck it. I hate caring about these bastards

I haven't been around much-Vail got 40+ inches in 3 days early this week, so it was a "skip work" week. Also got my balls snagged in a f'ing DUI sting leaving the Vail Village parking garage at 2am(all pigs must die). Overnight parking not allowed(you get towed), so they just fucking nail everyone on their way out as the bars close.

(and people wonder why cops get shot in the face). Had to catch up on a ton of shit since I finally made it home yesterday.
