So are you saying that Both College & NFL ??

Because you have the time to Capp ?? I think that is a Great Answer
Because you are right, there really is no other sport that give you That Time Frame to Capp a Game.

What a blast from the past. The show was "Lets Go To The Races" and aired on WMUR channel 9 out of Manchester. It was around 1979-80 that it was on. The races were from a Florida track (Hialeha-spelling I know- I think). Great show as I. lived right in back of Suffolk Downs

Baseball - mainly because in all other team sports there is nothing that compares to pitching for handicapping purposes. Not just starting pitching for both sides of a particular game but also the perspective stengths of each teams bullpen for that game.

Whitout getting longwinded I will simply say pitching with all of it's statistical relevence to a given ballgame offers the most pertinent information available to a handicapper than any other position or category in all of team sport handicapping.

Just the lefty - righty angle alone offers plenty of history for a capper to ponder when he works a game. There is plenty of other pitching information beyond L/R stats that is meaningful also.

I am going to say ..that you Do know about Gambling & Handicapping
Because, This is the " WHY " Answer that I was waiting for !

In Baseball...Pitching is such a Big part of Capping !
The " Good " Pitcher will keep your Team in the game, and give you a Chance to Win it !!

anything I can watch in person. makes it easier to figure out the story. If Im up in person and the bookmaker is 10000 miles away I think I can win. Not 1 favorite for me, it constantly changes, right now I would say ncaa hoops. Im going full board with Arena football this year. It is all the same, just use diffrent size balls.

Im at Torrey Pines and I see Fluff trying to help Furyk iron out his swing and I see Charley Hoffman break a putter over his knee, I can go to a pregame chalktalk for a local college basketball team. Stuff you cant see on tv, what chance is the bookmaker going to have against me?

When I do watch tv I look for little things. As soon as I saw Pittino in that White suit I call the BM asap. Last night I see Kenny G with his sax doing the anthem at Pepperdine, no shot waves are losing.

I dont do too much with numbers, mostly all feel and intution with info not widely known.

Like Phil calling Amy Alcott for course knowledge. Like Tiger texting Annika with swing tips. and encouragement.
