Kareem only made one 3 point field goal during his long career including regular season, playoff and all star games. Kareem attempted a total of 18 shots from behind the arc but made just the one.

Name the opposing team, game result and date when Kareem sunk his lone "Three Ball"...

Wil, I was at the game the night Kareem broke Wilt's career scoring record. Name the arena?

Tomas and Mack in Las Vegas. I swear I was at the game also..

What a night. He broke the record with a medium distance sky hook from the right corner in the 3rd period...

Actually for a couple of years the Jazz played a ten game package of games at Thomas and Mack (included two pre-season games). They were considered home games, the Celtics did the same thing in Providence, Rhode Island and so did other NBA teams as well in cities nearby to their home arena.

The year Jabbar broke Wilt's scoring record I had purchased season tickets (if you want to call 10 games a season) and by far the most exciting game was the Lakers-Jazz game on April 24th of 1984 when Kareem became the all time NBA career scoring leader..

The place was packed which was not the case during the other nine games played by the Jazz in Las Vegas that year.

Wil, small world. I remember them stopping the game and Kareem's father coming out to halfcourt. I also remember seeing the pro Laker crowd and going to a pay phone(yes a pay phone) and making a winning wager on the Lakers.

What a night.

Obviously it was the 4th quarter not the third like I posted above but I remember the skyhook from the right corner about 12 to 14 feet out. The date was April 5th 1984. (Wikipedia has it posted as April 24th.) but that is impossible because the regular season ended on April 15th 1984 for the Lakers that year.

Wikipedia:

Among them were his record sixth MVP award in 1980, four more All-NBA First Team designations, two more All-Defense First Team designations, the 1985 Finals MVP, and on April 24, 1984 he broke Wilt Chamberlain's record for career points. Should be April 5th. 1984.

Washington used to play some games in Baltimore. Any other teams?

For 5 or 6 years the Kansas City Kings played some of their games in Omaha, Neb. They actually were called the KC-Omaha Kings.

When Larry Legend Bird lit up the Hawks for 60 in 1985,
the game was actually an Atlanta "home" game played in
the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.
