Young talent plus 2 1st round picks on a team that was going downhill quick.

Devin Harris could be a stud, like it, and double picks after the new 1 year College Rule is huge.

Harris is very good. Great trade for Nets. Kidd will definitely help the Mavs though

i think the mavs got burned. kidd is great getting the ball to open team mates. The problem is outside dirk who can hit a jumper on that team?

Horrible trade for the Mavs. Kidd is still a good player but is no longer the great player he once was. He isn't enough to get them over the top and they gave up a lot to get him. Harris isn't much worse than Kidd right now, let alone a few years from now.

Jason Terry.... and Howard can shoot and is a great slasher also. Mavs are going to be scary with Kidd

This was a great trade for the Nets, they almost pulled it together for a playoff run without Kidd(doesn't suprise me at all)....glad to see they decided to go in a different direction, those 2 first round picks could throw them in the mix for a playoff run next year in the crap-shoot eastern conference.

Nothing can help the nets. They need a new coach and some big free agent signings in the offseason. The move to brooklyn is a good idea cause jersey shouldn't have a basketball team. Just like seattle.
