its a satilite receiver that can recieve the channels that dish network can get.you can order a reciever at fta newbies.you have to download the bins file,that matches the brand of reciever you buy.it easy,but the hackers that work for dish are working overtime,so far when they knock it out our people gets it back up.its kinda like the direct tv card but better.

i have a viewsat platnium 2000,they can get a fix faster than the other recievers.when you download the bin file ,you will need a 9pin female to a 9pin female null cable modem.i got my sister to orde one on ebay for 4 dollars.
