DirecTV is borderline useless

I just cancelled. I have never seen such horrible customer service in my life. The call center in India or wherever it is constantly fucks up everyone of my simple requests and when I finally get a guy in retention to repair the stuff they've messed up, he tells me that there is nothing he can do. Just a total runaround. I had to call at least 5-10 times each month I had these jokers. Going to go to Dish Network or Cable.

Anyway, I'm pissed and this whole experience has been a total joke of customer service.

I have had Dish, DirecTV, and Cable One in the past. DirecTV easily has the worst customer service, with Dish second, and Cable 3rd. They all have horrible customer service but at least Cable One doesn't have overseas call centers where I can't understand what is going on. Other than that, they all stink.

PS, I just signed up for Cable One. Gonna have to go to the bars to watch NFL this season but I'll survive. Never going back to DTV again.

do a little research.. they might have cracked that DS2 system or whatever they hell it was with the DSS dishes (DirecTV)

why pay when you get it for free??

my wife & i cancelled ours two months ago. we got sick and tired of the reception going out all the time when the winds blow hard. plus at&t had a special going on a "new" thing called u-verse ! we got the u400 package plus highspeed internet,plus home phone, plus two cell phones. and check this out our home phone only cost us 5.99 a month now. only for local calls !! karen my wife says this will save us over 80.00 bucks a month. with the package we got we get over 550 stations, 10 showtimes,6 starz,10 hbo's 7 cinemax's and more sports then i know what to do with. my wife has a big note on are home phones saying"do not use !!! use the cell phone !!!! from what she has told me..... we have free min's on them. :lolBIG:

Link please,my wife insist we have a land phone and I want it gone.

Will you get the MLB as we have dishnetwork and not avaliable.

o-yes...... one more thing !! every month we only get "one" bill !! for the t.v, high speed internet, home phone, & two cell phones !!:lolBIG:

have had them for 11 years and have needed to call them only once...best service out there.

I know that people love Dtv for their sports packages, but I know exactly how Jake feels. Their tech support can be f'ing brutal.

What are all of your "simple requests"? I've had Directv for years and the only time i've called them is to order or cancel sports packages.
