Great post! Thanks for sharing

Do you mind listing amounts/methods/fees associated? If not, no big deal.

I am in at a couple of those books. Thanks for the list, very informative.

Nothing drives me more insane than the post super bowl the sky is falling posts that come up every year. Bottom line unfortuantely books folding are a part of the risk involved in this but I think to many pepole worry way too much about this. If I had a nickel for everytime I heard all the negative things about books, espcially since the Neteller fiasco, I would be a millionaire.

About 22,000. I requested checks from all except Beted. Amounts varied from 2294 to 4520.

WSEX payout is late.

I assumed that most books were paying slow subsequent to the Super Bowl until I saw the list who did pay on a timely basis as listed above. While I feel relatively certain that I will be paid in full by WSEX, I am somewhat less than ecstatic that a book that I have done business with for many years cannot solve their payment processor problems. I have never had difficulties with any other book and have never entered a contest or had a deposit problem. There is no other side to this story - they are simply slow paying. I sent the note below to WSEX earlier today. This was for payment by check. Is there anyone else out there who is looking at 35 days or more?

I requested a payout of $1000 on 1/17/08 and that amount was immediately deducted from my account. That was 35 days ago (23 days after deducting weekends and holidays). While I understand that you might be having trouble with your payment processor, I feel that taking this amount of time is excessive and does violate the parameters of the disclosure on your website stating "Regular mail may take up to 20 days for delivery". Please let me know when I can expect payment. No "canned responses" please. [/I]

Ridiculous! This is exactly why I dropped them as an out. They have had processor problems for too long. If I was you, I would start a sep thread about WSEX slow payout and maybe a Mod will look into it for you.

Your advice is well taken. If I do not receive a check in the mail today I will start a thread about their slow paying. The other major books have found a way to deal with payment processor problems and still pay within a reasonable time frame. I do not believe 35 days is reasonable. WSEX has always been a top tier book that paid like clockwork. I wonder if there are serious problems there that have yet to surface.

Yikes! Same boat here. Put in requests on 1/18 and 1/21, still waiting. Didn't need the money right away, so I just had it sent snail mail. Nevertheless, this is taking too long.
