Georgia Tech's men's basketball game against Virginia was postponed Thursday night due to a leak that allowed rainwater to fall on the court at Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
At 7:03 p.m., minutes before the game was to begin, a PA announcer told the crowd that the game would be delayed for 20 minutes as both teams returned to their locker rooms. The game was later postponed for precautionary reasons.

The leak was above the east goal, and water was dripping in the area of the free-throw lane.
Tech coach Paul Hewitt and Virginia coach Dave Leitao stood near the water for several minutes, speaking with Tech facilities officials, but no resolution was found.
Mike Stamus, a member of the Tech media-relations staff, said there was no way Thursday night to get up to the ceiling to do patchwork, or on the roof.
Tech (11-13, 4-6 ACC) has lost three straight, and Virginia (12-12, 2-9) is in last place in the conference.
