Just got home. Looks like the power might have gone out because my computer looked like it had been restarted. Anyway, Yahoo's toolbar was now on Mozilla which was weird so I removed it. Now I have a line across the screen where the toolbar was with nothing on it. Also, all my bookmarks are gone. Any idea how to get this stuff back? It didn't delete everything because all my passwords are saved like normal and if I begin to type in a URL, it completes it for me...

Somewhat. It was just www.yahoo.com but now it is www.yahoo.com/=fhjtt or something.

It looks like somehow Yahoo got a toolbar on here even though I don't have Yahoo Messenger or Yahoo anything. My cousin works for Yahoo programming shit, maybe I'll give him a ring tomorrow if no one has any ideas.

OK, Go to your IE...Go to Tools.....Click on Internet Options
Where it pops up, you can see what your Homepage is

If it's Not what you want, type in www yahoo .com
Hit OK

I have the homepage figured out and removed that weird blank toolbar finally. My main concern right now is to get my bookmarks back. They are removed from both Mozilla and IE.

Do a search for one of the words in their names-you should be able to copy the over to your profile.

Same thing as above, go to Tools.....then go to Toolbars
Click on Fav or Bookmarks, whichever you have and see if they Show up there

Not a bad idea to periodically export your bookmarks into a simpley Yahoo email and mail it to yourself. It will sit available on the server anytime you want em

if you have windows xp you could try a system restore back to when it was all good

click on start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore

pick a date when you know it was all good and see if it works:toast:
