nobody ever talks about him but this guy is legit. i love his all around game and i like how he becomes an annoying pest to the other team on defense. put up 44 tonight, 7/9 from 3.

I think most people who watch the NBA are aware of how good this guy is.

If you're looking for players who are truly underrated, I'd start with the following guys off the top of my head:

Caron Butler
Stephen Jackson
Monta Ellis
Hedo Turkoglu
Al Jefferson
Josh Smith
Jose Calderon
Kevin Martin
David West
Corey Maggette
Josh Childress
Marvin Williams

I was thinking the same thing about Manu watching the game last night.

Skins....Please take Maggette off that list. If anything, he's overrated.

Everyone on Skins list is underrated. Maggette regularlay is in the top 5 in FTA and shoots 80+ from the line..he is a great scorer and Dunleavy doesnt like to run plays enough for him but he is definitley capable of averaging 23-25 PPG. Marvin Williams has not been playing good at all lately and after a great start his last two weeks have really killed his FG%/PPG/RPG. Hopefully he bounces back from his first bad stretch this season.

Ginobli has played 6 years now , he has 3 rings. He has NEVER been an Allstar , has NEVER been voted NBA 1st , 2nd , or 3rd team. Yet when 12 time Allstar Tim Duncan needs a night off, Manu can step up and litterally carry the team as we've time and time again. Hes an ace shooter , a dangerous slasher and a fearless competitor. I think he falls under the underated category for sure. Remember he dropped 46 on Lebron and Cleveland with Duncan out a few weeks back in a big win. Hes a baller. And if he was #1 option on another team , he would probaly average 23-25 aswell. But as most NBAers will tell you, they will trade stats for rings anyday (most of them at least.)

Maggette will get you 20 pts a game because of his ability to get to the line. He's a nice complimentary player. A good wing man. The problem with him is, he doesn't do other things on the court well at all. He makes terrible court decisions, defense is average at best and on top of it, the guy doesn't have any confidence in his shot late in the game whatsoever. Try and find another 20+ scorer as bad as corey, late in a game. There isn't one. He falls apart better than anyone.

Tony is the official Clipper authority on this site, and I agree with his statement 100%. ( same thing at Duke for that matter)

Correction. Manu was an NBA All-Star in 2004-2005. He deserved to be one
this year too.
