Rehash of old news by "The old Grey crack whore".
“We were all satisfied, every one of us,” said John Mara, the Giants’ president. “All of us have our different opinions about the Patriots, but we were all satisfied that this thing was investigated properly and that they came to the proper conclusion.”

...quite honestly I feel as if the league may be starting to get more and more scared. I honestly think that. I think if a proper thorough investigation were done, a lot of organizations would be at fault.
...and
Another member of the committee, Colts president Bill Polian, shared his opinion on the NFL’s investigation of the Patriots.

“From my perspective, that was a thorough, fair, efficient process with lots of integrity,” he said. “I think it’s fair to say we [as a committee] were satisfied with the explanation, satisfied with what was done, and at least I am anyway. It’s behind us. It’s time to move forward.”

I read in the latest issue of SI that either the Pats or the NFL is being sued for 100 million by players on the Rams squad that lost the SB. They want the difference between the losing and winner's checks and refunds for all paying customers.

I could care less really. It does though just give people another reason to feel that the pats are cheaters though. It's the public perception that the Pat's won doing things illegaly. It doesn't matter to people that some of the accusations are wrong.

It's like with Clemens. Clemens has stated that he will never get his good name back and he's right. The public perception of him is that he cheated.

I once cheated by having someone else take an IQ test for me.

I think its sad what the Patriot's have been doing for 7 years and all this time we thought there coach was somehow so much smarter than the rest of the NFL. I wish they would investigate the whole league too. I bet u not everybody has been cheeting and u would not find anyone doing it as extreme or as long. U probally would find smaller and less infrations of the rule. As for Coach Bilicheck saying he interpreted the rule wrong. He's so full of u know what its not even funny. Like a supposed genius of his stature could ever mis interpret the rules. As for people that dont know how much of an advantage this is. In my oppinion the advantage is overwhelming. Try running the ball up the middle every time they drop into zone coverage, Try throwing the ball deep everytime they bring a huge blitz, try rolling th QB out right when u know there going to be blitzing only from the left side, and the list goes n and on. Its a digrace to the Game of Football and the NFL. I always knew when I looked into Coach Bilicheck's eyes. Something wasnt right. Just as when I saw the guy in the the PhoeniX Suns playoff game. U know the ref. When he made that very bad call in game 6 or something. I had never see that guy before, but when i looked at him. I said to my self there is something wrong with this guy here. 2 months later he was indited.

GARBAGE. Many have done the same thing for years and exactly how much does it mean?? Not much and many have said that like Dick Vermail. All it does is give haters a chance to shoot their mouth off. This is the most overrated thing I have ever seen in my life. Haters need to get a life.

Oh so when they won ever single game during this year most by blowouts, what happened then? Coach Vermeil and many others said it does not mean much taping a practice. Hard to utilize that during a game with lack of time and all. Far fetched to say the least as several coahes have already stated. The most overrated thing I have ever seen in my life.

I'm not surprised that other coaches are downplaying it; you know they're going to close ranks and BS just like ballplayers do for each other even when it's obvious that a Bonds or Clemens is a walking steroid lab. It should be obvious to anyone that, regardless of the scope or impact, Belichik and the Patriots are lying-ass cheats. Don't think rings should be taken away but the NFL, and it's billions of bucks, should investigate and penalize and do so harshly.

Oh so other coaches are down playing it to "CLOSE RANKS"...so forget/ignore their points. Any chance they know what they are talking about? Very hard to utilize. Coaches laughed it off. "LIEING ASS CHEATS"..so when they dominated the regular season this year what was that? DOMINATION. That is what it was. What they did has nothing to do with how great and successful they have been. Fact is the NFL is ferociously competative and a lot of this stuff goes on. IF you want honesty and integrity you are watching the wrong thing. Take your hate somehwere else.

No hate at all, you can't handle facts. This stuff is where steroid use in MLB was in the late 90's; everybody denying, saying "you're just jealous", etc. If Matt Walsh plays the part of Jose Canseco and blows this open the Pats will be deservedly seen as akin to Barry Bonds; great without cheating but even better with it.

Terrible terrible analogy by a hater. Apples and oranges and is it dumb to compare. What is Walsh going to say? What is he going to blow open? You think he might blow open our undefeated regular season this year? How about next year? Pats will dominate again. THis isn't Brett Boone hitting a million home runs as a 5"9 guy then dropping out of a league. This is the best NFL franchise, with the best coaches and best players. Taping a practice isn't what led to 3 Super Bowl wins and an incredible run. Get that thru your hate filled brain. And anyone else too.

TB#1, like I said I could care less about the Pats. My point was that in the PUBLIC'S eye the Pat's are tainted. They aren't taking away any trophies from them but for most people who aren't fans they are cheaters who got caught.

I agree. Many are tainting their success just like when they lost everyone was rejoicing. Agreed. That is the price you pay for success. I sincerely think it is the msot overrated thing I have seen. Taping a practice is not why they won. And many smart people have stated this. And for good measure the pats destroyed everyone this year.

Looks like apples vs. apples to me. Walsh must have something otherwise he wouldn't be making all these statements; and if you think that one practice is all that Belichik taped you're absolutely crazy.
