Is there any doubt that the Pac-10 is the best conference in the nation?

Look at the conference from top to bottom. Teams 4-9 are beating the living shit out of one another. If a few things happen right, Washington could move from 9th to sole possession of 5th by the end of the weekend. This is the toughest conference I've seen in a long time. I'm just glad WSU is a lock already and isn't in that muddled mess in the middle. My only concern is that they keep beating eacother up and in the end the Pac only gets 4 or 5 bids, when 7 or possibly 8 should happen.

Here's to the committee recognizing how insanely tough the conference is and rewarding the Pac-10 with 7 or 8 bids. It would be an absolute travesty if the Big 10/ACC/ Big 12 got more bids than the Pac-10.

the Big East is the best BY far

No way in Hell teams like Cal, Arizona St, Washington, Oregon St, Oregon OR USC deserve to be in the tournament..

So i give you, UCLA, Washington St, Stanford and PROBABLY Arizona, though they have very few really impressive, if any, wins this year..

UCLA, WSU, Stanford are locks. UofA probably gets in and USC is on the bubble.
Oregon, Cal, ASU, enjoy the NIT.

Big East
Uconn, Gtown, L'ville, Notre Dame, Pitt get in.

you forgot about Marquette, LOCK CITY too to get in.

Should be in: UCLA, WAZU, USC, STANFORD, ZONA, AND USC.
I agree that there is a big jump to Oregon and ASZT

Should be in: Louisville, Gtown, Marquette, Notre Dame, WVU, UConn, Pitt (though their star is falling).

The next closest is probably the 'Cuse and they will NOT be in.

They are easily the best two conferences and land, and debating who is better is tough and probably pointless.

On the other end, the SEC only deserves to have 2 (Max of 3) teams. This is consistently some of the worst major conference basketball I have ever seen. Truly Pathetic. They only have one true top 25 team, who will get waxed come Saturday.

big east easily. conf is brutal.

pitt gets in with no problem. they played half the yr without their backcourt. would not want to have to face them in march[ask duke].
