How much can we really tell about someone from there posting on a forum?

Sometimes I wonder about the lives outside of the forum that some of the people I post with have.

I dont even know 99% of your names. I dont know what 99% of you do for a living.

How much do you think you can tell about a person by the way they post at this forum.

I bet im wrong about a lot of people over here.

I would bet you that there are posters here that I like a lot as posters, but would not like in real life.

I also would bet that there are posters here at the forum that I dislike as posters but would get along with great in person.

Who knows maybe HENHOUSE is a pretty cool dude in real life. You never know.

Personally, I've been living a cyber-lie. I actually am a nuclear physicist that drinks champagne. But I created this image of a guy that drinks cheap beer and sells insurance to try and make me look classier than I really am. I feel guilty about it now, but in cyberspace it's so easy to be anyone you want to be.

of course you can't tell anything about a person on here. it dosen't matter if they have a million posts or are 'well known' you don't really ever know a person when face to face with them all the time, nevermind on a site like this. no, you can't tell anything about a person online..it's the internet man, people make up fake personalities and live out fantasies and say things they can get away with only online and it's just all fake. don't believe anyone that tries to sell you that what you see(read) is what you get, that's bs

there's a reason why everybody on the internet is 6'2,180,has a 12 inch johnson,lives in a mansion,married to a model,never spells a word wrong,perfect grammar...AND,has 20 or 30 thousand posts on a gambling forum.....just a wild guess here,but it aint because they're well adjusted human beings..lol......the guys who work the hardest on their internet personna,you probably wouldnt want them over for coffee.....on the other hand,the guys who dont give a fk,might make a prett good neighbor......'keep the continue'

i am 5'8 140,4.5 inch johnson,live with parents,not married,can not spell,dont over 30,000 posts,not well adjusted,not a good guy to have coffee with,horrible neighbor,great gambler %^_
