Fucking sucks!

i woke up at 4 AM as a wave just came over me, have been in misery pretty much since, no surprise though as my wife had it since wednesday and is much better today, so i guess i have 3 lovely days to look forward to.

Gotta shit about every 10 to 20 mins or so, all liquid.

half my office was out last week, i assume the other half will be this week too.

1 theraflu thinstrip multi-symptom every 2 hours

1 oxycotin as needed

Double dose on Theraflu makes life bearable.

I'm one of the few who haven't been hit this year. This will probably jinx me.

I am just getting over a Horribele 3 day flu......You can take 800mg of advil every 4-6hrs, that is 4 tablets...BUT 3 should do you just fine. I am also recommending Oscillococcium, it is an herbal remedy that seems to work very well for the flu. Have someone pick it up at your local pharmacy.

same boat as you guys... but not the flu - i got strep throat...

started as a real real real bad sore throat from about monday to thursday then on friday... bam, strep throat... puss on my tonsils... disgusting

anytime i breathe through my nose, it irritates my throat... annoying as hell. I hate going to the doctor - but if this doesn't improve by tomorrow, may go see the doc to get some zithromax

bought a humidifier last night - its helped me sleep by not dehydrating me

anyone got any home remedies?

I'll second Joe's recommendation of Oscillococcum. Long ago I worked in a health foods store and many swore by it. You can find it at Whole Foods as well.

a z pack will do the trick there

I knew guys that got opium and smoked it and made them be careful, just be careful of the opium you get, the street version is risky.
