just came across a big box of old baseball cards. where is the best and fastest place on the internet to get prices?

tuffstuffonline.com used to have a price guide for free. Not sure if they do anymore. If you want an accurate price guide, check and see how much they are going for on Ebay. Prices from card mags are not the actual price and you will never get that much.

mr. o, if they are post 1985 or so, they'll have to be appraised and rated by Becket or the other firms that provide this service, and even then they'll have to be in pristine/mint condition to be worth much. Market has been flooded the last 2 decades.

Pre-85 might be worth something even if they are not in perfect condition.

If they are any cards from 1987-1997 and anything but 89 upper deck they arent worth the cardboard they are printed on. Mass production killed them.
