Which one is the best monthly read?

And if there are better ones than that let me know.
Thanks.

Bluff has really gotten better in the last year. there is some worthless fluff every month like annie duke and jennifer tillys monthly waste of space. A nd the technical articles are not as in depth as Cardplayer but i like em both.
Bluff comes to my house and p/u Cardplayer at the boat.....Also ck out the internet magazine, comes out monthly at 2+2..very good also......

I read both. If I had to choose between the 2 it would be Bluff but my a narrow margin.

The poker magazine I like the best is called Poker Pro. It is more about the players than the ins and outs of poker, which it does cover also. I am intrigued to read about the players and their lifestyle, the tour, the young internet players who gave up everything to turn pro. Stuff like that is a little more interesting than what you should do in this posistion, etc, etc.. Though useful I think every magazine needs something different and more than just tips on how to improve your game, which they obviously all focus on and have.

It actually maybe a little too "feel good" cause they seem to interview alot of the players who just did well in bigger tournaments recently. I think it would be even more interesing if they did follow up stories a year later and see if these plaers are still winning.

Are there any monthlys that focus on online poker?

ProPokerPlayer: Can I subscribe to the one you are talking about, or do you have to read it online?

I am not sure you can get it online but I have it sent to my home every month thru regular old mail.

Cardplayer can be read online and 2+2 is only online...the only thing about 2+2 is they dont archive the articles..they put it up and if you miss it you cant go back and read say last Decs issue cus they take it down.
For instance they have had a monthly series on Omaha8 that i have been following. and what they will do is after the series is over they will combine it and sell it as a book so they dont keep back articles so as not to hurt their book sales which is really all 2+2 is concerned about..
