is preseason worth wagering ?

I was wondering how successful people were in wagering spring training baseball.I actually go to florida every year for a week and half of games but have never wagered on any of the games except for friendly wagers with friends who go to the games .I just wanted to see how people do each year in spring training?

any thoughts greatly appreciated

I was wondering the same thing. I have always bet on NCAA BB and NFL. Obviously the NCAA will end soon and I hate NBA so I wanna at least give Baseball a try. I do not quite understand the spring training though. Do all the teams players play in games? I read somewhere that the good players stay home for road games during ST..Is this true? And would it not be smart just to go with the favorites since it is so early in baseball betting season..?

If anything I wud so go with dogs early in the baseball season, cuz u still don't know what teams are legit or not, and as for spring training, u never really know how the younger dudes, who are getting their shots, will perform.

So for example, I wanna play the Tigers today.. Now is the main players going to be at the plate batting? Or do they have a bunch of no names batting...Main batters I am referring to Inge, Cabrella , etc... Basically do they have their staters batting or do they have those guys sit bench... May sound stupid but I am not gonna bet on it if the tigers have a bunch of non normal players stepping up to the plate to bat...
