I need some tips from anyone in New York or someone who goes to Yankee games. I plan on making the trip up in June when the Yanks are facing my Cincinnati Redlegs. Never been to New York and its a little overwhelming trying to figure out a plan.

What im looking for is advice on a hotel (decent price and somewhat close to the park), things I need to see and do, maybe even cheapest way to get their, really anything that you think would help someone who has never been their.

First Thing First....THERE IS NOWHERE NEAR THE PARK THAT YOU WANT TO STAY IN A HOTEL...if you want to get back to Cincy

You will HAVE TO stay in the City, Not the Bronx !!

Stay in the city and take the subway to the park. Very easy.

How many people are going with you ??

Tickets are gonna be expensive to see a yankee game. Last year in the stadium.

I think this section has the best view...fwiw

I meant to put that in my post, I have no intention in staying in the bronx, LOL.

I will get the email addys and hit you guys up, I would like to make it back to cincy in one piece.

As far as seats go, id like a seat where I can just chill and sit back and watch the game and not be bothered by drunken idiots (getting old, back in the day would be the drunken idiot).
