The Super Bowl ends and one month later the best free agent market in sports starts up. I can only speak for my town (Detroit) but every forum out there is so excitied about all the players moves. Than you have the draft coming in April, where every team more or less wins.

The NFL off-season know has become about as exciting as the regular season. People love to talk about trades and signings as each team (because of the size of the rosters) picks up 2-5 new players thru free agency and another 5-10 players thru the draft.

Just a real exciting time of the year now!!!

It's like your team gets to draft new players for a month and everyone loves the draft. Maybe this is the Lions fan in me speaking, LOL. This is our Super Bowl.

They should dump the salary cap. Return to a true free market system.

Great, so the New York teams can throw good money after bad. Solves everything.

If there wasn't a cap in the NBA, the Knicks would have $200 million in bad guards.

Actually, I was being sarcastic, but i do feel a little bad for NFL players. They do seem to get "used" by management a lot more than other sports.

well they dont have the guaranteed contracts like nba and mlb. they can cut you at any time, the contracts are meaningless besides guaranteed money. the wear and tear on your body is crazy compared to nba and mlb. lot of these guys are in bad shape at the end of there careers. you dont have the wear and tear like you do in nba and mlb.
