Steak Tartar on the ball today..

Cy Williams an outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1918 to 1930
(also played for the Cubs for six seasons before being traded to Philly)
hit 41 homers in 1923 while batting .293 with 114 RBI in 535 at bats spread over 136 games.

That was Williams' best season of his long career. He retired with 251 career homers. Williams retired after the 1930 season.

Ricky Henderson hit over 20 homers 4 times during his very long career with a high of 28 in 1986 for the Yanks (and again in 1990 for the As.).

Consequently you get a nope.

Excellent TTP...

Royce Clayton (still active - barely) has 110 homers in 17 seasons with 1415 career strikeouts. His best year for home runs was 1999 and 2000 when he hit 14 both years.

Pretty dubious distinction.
