The voting is final and this week's contestants as voted in by you the The Rx.com Posting Body are Posters Whalewager Vs #1cheater#.

The Match-up Committee needs both candidates to post in this thread that they are aware of winning their spots in week one's competition and are willing to begin anytime after Tuesday's lines are posted, which should be sometime Monday evening in the:
Rx.com Poster Head to Head Capping Contest Forum..

A thread with the contest rules will be posted and a post in that thread for each contestant containing their own personal games will be posted by Jake Thompson sometime late Monday Afternoon or as soon as the appropriate lines are available.

Whalewager and #1cheater# kindly make a post in this thread no later than Midnight Pacific on Sunday March 2nd. that you are good to go. Should either contestant not post or decide to back out The Contest Match-up Committee will write in a replacement contestant as per pre-posted rule.

The winner receives a free 60 day subscription to Rx Odds (a $198 value)...

Excellent - the match-up is set.

Jake will be posting the contest thread for Tuesday (day one) sometime late Monday afternoon in the contest forum.

I am going to unstick this thread now and will bump it when the match-ups are posted on Monday.

We can't announce the teams yet until lines are posted. Every day of competition (Tuesday thru Saturday) there will be five games with lines posted for each one of the two competitors (juice is not a factor). The lines can be from games of any sport being played that day and each contestant will have 5 separate games to choose their picks from for that day.

There will never be a day when the contestants have the same games to pick between. The Sports that will be used to kick off the contest will be either College Basketball, NBA Basketball or a combination of both. Eventually NHL Hockey, PGA Golf head to head match-ups, and eventually Major League Baseball will all be used as sports to be part of each nights handicapping card.

Hockey should be an option for Whale and I this week? The season is almost over,this is the best time to make money on hockey "crunch time" please make hockey an option this week.
