I've been trapping the little suckers off and on for the past couple on months and now it sounds like they're in the kitchen ceiling. WTF???

First I can't tell where the hell they're coming in from. I'm allergic to cats so I can't use that solution and no poison because of the dog and the neighbor's dog.

How the hell do I get rid of them from the kitchen ceiling? There's a bedroom over it so it doesn't make sense for them to be there. I checked everywhere in the kitchen and there are no holes anywhere so they must be coming in from the air ducts or under the porch door which is pretty airtight but those little buggers can fit thru anything. Can an exterminator get rid of them without them dying in the house and rotting up a storm?

I hate these f*ckers.

ratpoison, sticky traps or wire traps. Take your pick. Or pay a few bills and have it done for you

First you have to figure out how they are getting in....

I had this problem a couple of years ago....

Once you have sealed where they are getting in, the next step is to buy some special mouse poinson, they eat it up, go between the walls and die

it doesnt smell either coz this stuff makes them dehydrate.

I had dozens of mice in my basement, and this worked like a charm, never found the dead mice either

Like I said, with the poison I bought you dont have to worry abou tthat, they simply eat it up (seeds in a little box) and go between the walls, and die, but this stuff dehydrates them extremly quick so they dont smell or rot.....

They simply petrify

I must have had dozens of mice in my basement because there was mice shit everywhere, they were getting in through the garage, I poisened them and they are gone, but I didnt find any of the carcases, no smell either.

Thx guys. Where do you buy that special poison, Home Depot?

Tomorrow I'm gonna do a close inspection of the outside wall.

Seems to me they would be under the house?

Just sounds like their in the walls.

I bought one of those high pitched plug into the wall boxes and they all split to the next door neighbors house.

savant, going to the Aetna store this aft to get that special poison and lock boxes. I did an inspection of my outside wall and I can't see any holes where they might be coming in. I live in a semi and my next door neighbor has them too so it makes me wonder if they're gaining access thru her house.

any decent exterminator has green & white (parafin-like) blocks that will make rats/mice seek water. They'll flee searching for H20 & die, almost always, outside. Keep outside faucet dripping to "lead" them to it. They literally dry up from the inside.

the house i had the problem with was also a semi, they were getting into the garage, and then from the garage they could get into the basement, I had the garage doar sealed and insulated and the holes they might have been getting into filled....

perhaps your mice just got in once by fluke and there is no place they are getting in.....

Still go ahead with the poson I guess.....

The stuff I bought came in a small box, and you popped through the lid, inside was the poison seeds.... I placed them throughout the basement and they were eaten up quickly....

shortly after that, no mice problems

Best thing I have found to work at my business is Slim Jims in mice/rat traps. Worked much better than the penaut butter.

"I did an inspection of my outside wall and I can't see any holes where they might be coming in."

they can get in thru a hole as small as 1/4 inch.

seal up all those holes, eliminate all food sources, and keep trapping
