Best value on the board...

Lakers would be my pick but +325 is crap odds to win 3 playoffs series, especially 2 in the West

Lebron in the playoffs is as SICK as anybody - I think he can get the Cavs to the Finals and I think they stand a fighting chance vs. the Lakers with the new-look roster.

Shooters in Gibson, Damon Jones, Wally, West, Pavlovic

Big men in Big Z, Ben Wallace, Varejao, Joe Smith

And the man himself, LBJ

lol, terrible odds for a team with no chance. Should be at lest +2500

They would have a chance if every round where 1 game.

15:1 is not high enough to be considered great value.

Maybe 30:1 is a great value though

Why doesn't Cleveland have a chance? I took Cleveland a couple of weeks ago at +1600.

Cleveland has no chance because he thought it would be the cool thing to say. Cleveland made a great move to get ready in time for the playoffs. The trade gave them defense, shooting, ball handling and a better assist to TO ratio. They have already beaten Boston twice with the old crappier lineup and they are considered the team to beat in the East. The two losses to Boston came with 1. Lebron out and 2. with this new roster that has not come close to gelling yet. I'm not sure but I think they have only played Detroit once and lost, but James missed the entire second half with a finger injury. They proved last year that they can beat the Pistons. Lebron and Gibson did it by themselves. Only three teams in the East have a shot, Detroit, Boston and Cleveland. And the Cavs have just as good of a chance as any of them.

cavs have no shot. and bost is not the team to beat in the east. also cavs did not improve their team as much as espn is saying. wallace is a has been and wally can't even spell defense.
pistons are a better team than last yrs version that loss to the fluke cavs. pound detriot in the second round against the cavs.

Just so you know you have to be the winner of 4 series in the playoffs to win the title, not 3.

Dunno why people have doubted Cleveland's chances at winning the east since day 1 - when you have a force like LBJ on your team, you are capable of beating anyone. I think the trade made them a better playoff team. They are the 3rd best team in the east right now, but to say they have no shot is asinine. I'd rather bet them at 15-1 than the Lakers at 4-1, considering the conferences. How about a Lakers-Cavs finals? ABC execs would shit their pants

My usual disclaimer: Despite my location, I'm not a Cavs fan

So there is no value in taking a +1500 and hedging some of it in the finals? Interesting.

people think they came so close last year. They really did not. They did not win a freakin game in the finals nor where they even that close.

Reminds me of the nets vs lakers about 5-6 years ago, they had no chance, than came back again to play the spurs, and once again they had no chance.

If these were 1 game series, yes there is value in 15 to 1. But in a 7 game series the best team wins, and the cavs are no where close to the best team.

Basketball is the one play-off system where the 1-3 best teams will win it. Football, baseball, hockey you can argue is a crap shoot for all teams that get in.

Also, trading your supporting role players for another crap teams supporting roll players is NOT a great trade.

Good Value?

Who cares man?

For Gods sake, this bet is throwing your money away, I promise you. Don't do it, the East does not stand a chance in Hell against the West. Theres 8 better teams than the Cavs in the Western Conference.

Cavs have beaten the Lakers the last 5 times they have faced each other, including a Lebron domination over Kobe at the Staples Center on national TV just a few months ago.

Well they did beat them 4 in a row, can u really out luck a team 4 straight times? Maybe mavs had the better talent, but they were lead by a mentally fragile leader. Whom i believe proved that again the next year.
