Actually....main thing i want .tif files to open via adobe acrobat

the fax server creates .tif files and sends them to our computers....everyone else uses imaging or something to open which sucks

Remember that if you open a pdf (or other adobe related) file in your browser, you'll be able to read it, but cannot make changes, or "copy" content.

For that, you need to open the actual Adobe program (via START>PROGRAMS or an established shortcut) and then open your desired file from there.

When you get an attachment, don't left click to open.

Right click instead and the short menu that appears will offer OPEN WITH, which when selected will give you a list of all programs in your computer. Select Adobe Acrobat and I think you'll be good to go.

Oh, using that sequence it will ask you, "Always Open These Type Files With This Program?". Check that box.

You're doing something wrong. Are you right-clicking the file?
