Those are good tourneys..

I like the 180 people tourneys for $12..

Try to find them without turbo and you can really build a nice bankroll.

Awesome stuff...

Did you lead at all?

Do you normally enter tourneys for that amount?

No I don't normally play tournaments this size, my normal range is $30-$100. However I played a $10 qualifyer for that one and got in.

I was the chip leader with about 20 left and had a huge chip lead with 8 left at the final table. I was able to maintain that down to 4 and then a guy hit a 2 outer on the river on me and really crashed my momentum. After that I went card dead and finally got all in preflop with 88 against JJ, which would have given me a nice lead had I sucked out, but he flopped a jack and I was a gonner.

Sounds like you were playing very well but the cards did not fall right at the end of the tourney..

Must have been nice to turn out that 13k though..

Congrats.

My biggest was $83200 second prize at the Sunday tournament at prima poker network over 2 years ago. Since then though I havent won over $8,000 in any one event though. Most of my $3000-8000 wins were rebuy tournaments though and I didnt win all of them. 3rd place paid that high in some

If I remember correctly, it was around $300-500. I think that it was $300 though.

Most of my rebuy tournaments, I was in for around $80-100 on average

Steak,
I can't tell you what the side bets were but safe to say let your imagination run wild.

It was one of the night's when the Cab was flowing and I was in a zone.

Grabbed a couple bottles of Los Vascos at the store and even though I'm getting a late start on you, I'll be in prime creative mode by the time my Idol summary rolls around later.
