First off all points in the NBA have been way up lately. As winbet noted totals have rised in the last few weeks and they are still not catching up. Totals are flying over as teams are literally playing no defense over this stretch and we are seeing some rediculous quarters. Why is this happening and what do you see happening the rest of the way?

Seceondly,

Lately there have been many things thrown on the court during the game causing technical fouls in NCAAB. This is interesting because say a bettor went to a game and his team was winning by 3 with 45 seconds left and he just threw something on the court because he had them -5? I mean you get kicked out but who cares if you have a few thousand on the game..the refs shouldnt be giving free throws for anything the fans do that is just rediculous and not only bettors but fans of the other teams should start throwing things on the court if they can get there favorite team points, right?

Interested in responses...btw I think this is my longest post in over a year on here.

This brings up a few important points about H'capping and not just NBA but all Sports. I'm always banging on about how valuable the True line is because then you can see where the Books are coming from, far too often on here Posters talk about Bookmakers leans without knowing what the real line is. Not only do you need a true line but one thats dynamic enough to incorporate any fluctuations, only then have you got the big picture.

Another point I keep ranting on about is why Posters go to extraordinary means to make a line on a Game when the Books, using all the Brains and experience available gets pushed aside with contempt. I use a fairly good dynamic system for NBA Totals that is off the latest trend by 5 points yet The Books have adjusted in this time to 3.8 of the Trend, which just shows how quick they are to adjust.

It has to be remembered that while the Books are quick to adjust, they still have the dampening factor of having to take in the league average which slows down their reaction compared to some sharp eyed bettors. Outside of these Sharps, the system punters can get burned bad if its not dynamic enough to adjust as all their findings will be against the trend. Of course the contrarian systems are having a field Day as long as their Unders are given a couple of points scope. :drink:

BTW, while My OVERS have out performed My UNDER selections, I had Two Unders last night that both Won and assessed all Three games Tonight as Under. So the Worm may be turning and if so, The Books will have a Head start on the pack. :drink:
