Secondly, more importantly (but I think without a solution)....

How can I get my old handle back that was registered to an email I no longer have.....

when I went to "forgot password", it sent a link to the password reset process...i no longer have the old email and in fact the isp from back in the late 1990s doesn't exist....wtf can i do?

havent had it since i got into laptops a few years back. is it a free service from aol?? if so, how i hook it up?

yeah, it is free....just go to AIM.com and there is the download

there is an aim express too but download probably better for home computer

i seem to recall a few years back that if a screen name goes unused for 6 months, you lose it. it gets terminated and someone else can use it. dont quote me on that but i remember not being able to get to a certain old screen name for that reason

it says the screenname is taken when I tried to register it....so that means either someone else took it or since I don't know my password, the sn is forever locked

i guess it wouldnt matter though. yeah, once you go inactive, it throws your s.name back in the available mix for someone to get lucky and pick the same name
