As a Bulls fan, why are we giving 4 to Cleveland?

I know Cleveland played and traveled last night, but does this line look fishy to anyone else?

I am probably guiltier than anyone when it comes to making homer bets. Usually I bet the Bulls or don't bet it at all. Thinking about going against them tonight.

Talk me out of it...

Bulls 13-15 SU at home this year. Ugh.

Granted I think we are a better team post-trade, but how can you not take Cleveland + money and/or points here?

this spot just screams for a chicago 8-10 point win. cavs still doing it with mirrors as their offense can still be painful to watch at times. cleveland could seriously either make it back to the nba finals ... or lose in the first round of the eastern conference playoffs. traveling off a high scoring game 24 hrs ago. think its chicago or nothing. although 'nothing' sounds like the better option. maybe the under.

seems like a great spot for chicago

Agree it's a good spot. They're rested, Cleveland is not, plus revenge. Bulls just plain stink this year though, not sure I can ask them to beat a hot Cleveland team by 4+...

Hmmm, I really do respect your posts. I think maybe I'll just say F it and take Chicago.

They always end up letting me down when I take them, so CLE is probably the play.

this bulls team just plain sucks, how is there EVER a "good spot" for them, except when playing equally bad teams like Memphis or Minnesota

I think you nailed it right there. They didnt get out of new york until late and by the time they got to Chicago and in the hotels you are talking at least 3am. This time of year fatigue is a huge factor and that is probably reflected in the line.

If you are thinking about going against the Bulls I would go with the Cavs on the moneyline. Right now you are getting anywhere from +160 (Greek) to +178 (Matchbook) To me it looks like a good spot for a Cavs straight up win as we all know dogs of +4 or less win outright a very decent % of time.

if a line looks to fishy play the other side. Im a bulls fan also. Chicago if they want the 7th or 8th seed they need to win. Also Cavs are to easy to pick this a great spot for bulls. Ben wallace will get booed out the arena. Plus back to back games when the second game stars at 7. Plus James was on fire last night and smoke the bulls last time they will try to slow him down.

Fatigue is overrated...unless you are up all night screwing your fuking brains out...or putting your kidney on the bar all night...do both and I agree with fatigue...:toast::hump:

Really hate to bet against a motivated Ben Wallace (doesn't happen much). Tyrus Thomas is suspended for the next two games also for skipping practice.

I forgot to mention that a friend of mine who works for the Cavs called me and told me they were up all night screwing their brains and putting their kidneys on the bar all night.

I agree that too much emphasis is put on fatigue. I was looking at it from the point of view that if the Cavs are down significantly in the 4th they might mail in the rest of the game, thinking about getting on that plane to go home. They are professionals of course, but the season is a long grind and there are definitely spots where teams are worn out and turn in a lemon.

I'm not saying tonight will be one of those games but getting in late and playing the night before certainly wont make them any sharper against a team that was home and rested.

For what it worth my pick would have been the Cavs ML because they are the better team and are on a roll.

the fans at the United Center this year are a JOKE and it's only gotten worse.. Cav's plus 5 for me all day..

with the game starting at 6.. Thomas out.. and the performance from the other game.. I just really like the Cavs in this spot.

Real fans go to the Blackhawks games. There will be playoffs in the UC this year, just not the Bulls.

Cavs ML may be one of the best gifts you could find this year.
