OT - Good Homebased business

Hi all,

My wife had 4 strokes and this requires me, or I would like to be with her at home full-time. Any suggestions of a legit homebased business, besides like Amway, Vitamins, Tuberware? I have a degree in business?

damn,sorry about your wife...standup guy to want to stay home with her...i know of 2 people in my life that have done medical billing and made their living doing that..and also know a web designer that makes good money at home

Buster

I was gonna bring up medical billing also. I think you have to take a small number of classes for that though. Don't know if that would fly here.

But one can get into bill collections. There is some significant money in that as well.

Sorry to hear about your wife.

Medical billing like Buster pointed out can be a good home business. Have a relative who does it and she makes a solid living doing it.

in all seriousness, if you are a good poker player or will study enough to be one, you could play on-line poker.

not for everyone ( not me, I just play recreationally) but some people do make a living at it

i get emails in myspam box all the time talking about medical transcription .

can you make money doing that ?

is it difficult ? time consuming ?

I'll have to look into medical transcription, a friend of mine has a sister that does that.

I like tout, I handicap the horses, I don't think anybody would pay for it. I can't seem to keep my bankroll from going out the window.

With the right setup (building with store front and personal living space etc)

Insurance is extremely lucrative and can be considered an at home operation.

Also know someone that operates a hair salon on the 1st floor and lives in the rest of the building. You could lease out different areas of the business property for the various activities.
