Not sure if I got shafted or not. I used my freeplay on a exhibition baseball game and took the Mets over the Red Sox. The game ended in a tie. CS is telling me sorry you used your freeplay and you didn't win and now it's gone. Is his BS? Thanks in advance.

Well it definitely isnt BS. I have heard of that before.

However, it is bad CS. Most books would you give you another Bonus Play if you ask for it

When you use a freplay and push that is it you get a push and the freeplay s used. Bad beat beat but an old rule in these situations.

Betting a three team parlay ( or higher) with freeplays, is the optimal way to go, or several of them.

You should never ever push on a Freeplay.

its the math behind it. It is extremely sound ask Ganchrow or Woody or some math pro about it. You get only the winnings, not the stake. I'll bump the old thread about it.

The bumped thread should explain why sufficiently.

Thanks Doug, skimmed it a little bit and will read it tomorrow.

Makes sense now, betting it all 8 ways. I thought you meant bet it as 1 big 3 teamer rather than break it up into every combo.

It doesn't really matter in terms of expectation. The key thing is long odds on whatever you bet with FP. I believe CRIS no longer allows ML on FP, so you have to resort to parlays. 3 teams gets the odds up high enough, and still a fair chance of cashing a ticket. I break it up into multiple bets.

Anything is fine as long as the payoff is high.

Since ties lose, make sure and take an NBA or NFL game that the line is one the half point too

this is such weak sauce... i know of the rule from my days scalping these bitches but if the player is obviously recreational this should be over ruled.

yep, no sharp player, or even a bad player that gets HS math , would make this bet that can push. I don't care to debate it with PO69, and I'm probably the only guy that sorta likes him as a poster !

Book should give a refund of the FP, if you're stupid enough to straight bet it on a line that can push ( pre-season baseball games can push, and do). If I'm the book I want this player, because he ain't sharp.

I never took any math class beyond the HS level, so there are plenty of guys here that have superior math skills to me. I think I just apply what I know efficiently to sportsbetting.
