What sportsbooks would you guys recommend?? They send me a letter in the mail which is offering 3 free nights stay at the new WYNN in las vegas. I was just wondering is this resort and casino a nice place to stay at? Any information would be very helpful thank you very much everyone.

The Wynn is one of the best. Never stayed there personally but they do have the best buffet in Vegas in my opinion. You'll have a blast.

Yes, the Wynn is nice - as nice as anything - the food could go on forever - what type of food and how high end?

Heading to the Mandalay Bay in May for four days. Hoping for some nice warm weather and a lot of relaxation by the pool. Oh yeah, and some baseball games!

I rented a car at the airport the last time that I went to Vegas. I usually rent a car if my wife goes along.

One time we drove to the HOOVER DAM from Vegas. I think that it only took around 1 hour to drive to the Dam, but it has been a while. She enjoyed that. She also enjoyed going to the Outlet Strip Mall where she could drive too easily. They had a COACH outlet store, so she was happy.

You can also drive to the Grand Canyon very easily. I recommned the helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon though

So if you are bringing your wife or girlfriend, then rent a car at the airport. She will be glad that you did. Then you can have more fun at the sportsbook or poker tables while she spends your winnings

There are some real good and real bad ones. The buffet at the Wynn is around $40US per head and worth every penny IMO. I asked atleast 10 cabbies and dealers which was the best in Vegas and 90% said the Wynn.

I am a foodie and it completely blew me away. Unlimited alaskan king crab legs, Lamb Chops, Prime Rib and countless other delicious premium items. Spend some extra cash and hit the good ones.

How the Hell does somebody that's never been to Vegas get a letter offering 3 free nights at possibly the best hotel in town ?

Several other buffets ( $25-30) have the crab legs:

Planet Hollywood

I know the city, lived there about 6-7 years. I wouldn't suggest a tourist get a car unless planning to go to Hoover Dam, or somewhere farther away. You don't need it ( or want it) if you go from casino to casino drinking and gambling, its more of a hindrance.

Best buffets are Wynn, Mirage, Planet Hollywood and Paris.

Although I haven't been back to PH since before the complete changeover, so don't know if it the same quality as Aladdin's. Paris is a question mark as well since Harrah's is cutting back lots of cost these days.

I'd say the Mirage is the best bargain/quality.

Whatever you do stay away from the following buffets: Circus Circus, Imperial Palace, Excalibur.

Bally's Sunday brunch is also supposed to be top notch, but it's around 60-70 a head.
