></o>Bring some excitement to the baseball season with this FREE monthly contest from WSEX and TheRx! Each month a new contest begins; that means new winners every single month!
It’s easy! Just make a minimum of 25 money line (ML) selections during each contest rotation, sit back, watch the games, and WIN!
How it Works:
• Each calendar month, a new contest begins. Contestants start at ‘zero’ at the beginning of each month.
• Contest will run from wed to Sunday every week (monday and tuesday being days off for the contest)
• Make a minimum of 25 money line (ML) selections each month.
• Choose a maximum of 3 selections within a maximum of 1 post per day.
• Contestants must use the lines available from WSEX at the time of their post.**
• Post your selections in the “Lines and Picks Thread” exactly as instructed. (Misposted plays will be graded as No Action)
• Plays will be graded based on a risk amount of $100 for underdogs and a win amount of $100 for favorites.
• All plays will be considered ‘Action’ and contestants will not have their odds adjusted if there is a pitching change. Odds used at the time of the contestant’s post are fixed.
• All ML picks must be considered final by Major League Baseball standards.
• Contest will be held in the in a special folder in the 'CONTEST' section of the site.
** You must post the current line at the time of your post. You may not use an earlier line, and you cannot use a different line after you have posted your selection. This rule is based on the ‘honor’ system and will be monitored by the contest moderator and fellow contestants. If you feel that a fellow contestant has posted an incorrect line, contact sportsavant@therx.com immediately. Anyone involved in more than one dispute in will be disqualified. A Dispute/Concerns thread will be made available to contestants in the contest room.
How to Play:
1. Open an account at WSEX. If you already have an account at WSEX, continue to Step 2. New accounts must be opened through the link provided in order to ensure eligibility.
2. Send an email as follows:

Subject line: WSEX-MLB2008 (Please copy and Paste to be exact)
Body of email:
• Poster name (ie. Sportsavant)
• WSEX account name
• Indicate new or existing account
3. Return to this thread and post ‘Email Sent’.
Prizes:
All CASH prizes are paid directly to your WSEX account.
First: $500
Second: $300
Third: $200
Starting with the May Contest, full prize amounts will be awarded for active WSEX members only. (Active is defined as making a total of at least $100 in real money wagers during the first 14 days of every month). Inactive players will receive 10% of prize value. The definition of "real" money vs "contest money" will be at the sole discretion of WSEX managment. There is 5X rollover on all contest winnings.
Rules and Regulations:
• One entry per member, per household, per IP address.
• Plays must be posted as instructed, or will be graded NO ACTION.
• Only one post with your selections per day. If you make an error posting your selections, please contact the contest moderator.
• Rules are not negotiable. Please do not ask to have them changed
• Disputes or any unforeseen circumstances will be mediated by Wilheim & TheRx.com management whose decision will be final in the matter.
• TheRX.com and WSEX reserve the right to change, add or delete any rule.
