When you see a poker pro play in a low buy-in, do you think they are hurting $$$$?

Im playing scott fischman right now in a $24 buyin event.
You would think for someone that has been in 10k buy-in events he must be hurting in the bankroll department.

usually if they are paid by full tilt or pokerstars they play low limits to attract more players and draw business to these sites.

I think they get sponsors to pay for that a lot of the times ,but I could be wrong.

My guess is it is part of his deal with the site to play some of these, however I do believe he said in his book that he goes down levels to try new strategies sometimes.

just because a player is in a lower stakes game, doesnt mean he isnt a good player. ive been in hundreds of games 20-30$sngs where i thought the play was better than in some of the 100-200$ games. seems to me that the 20 bucks means a lot more than the 200 does to some. if that makes any sense at all

makes sense, tighter play in many ways. People don't lose chips as often on "moves" . I don't think that necessarily makes them better though, but I get what you are saying.

Hopefully yours trully can knock him out personally.

He is doing pretty decent right now.

I have to get to his table 1st.
Should not be too hard. Its only a 90 player tourney.

You will know if he is a fulltilt pro if his name is in red on the lobby page.

I have knocked pros out of the Sunday tournament at fulltilt and they refunded my $216 entry fee
